58 mm, 80 mm, any ESC/POS printer

A billing app with Bluetooth printer support for your restaurant

A billing app with Bluetooth printer support lets you print a GST bill from the phone in your hand, with no desktop and no cables. EETS Partner prints bills and kitchen order tickets on any ESC/POS Bluetooth thermal printer, on 58 mm or 80 mm paper, and on Android POS machines that print over Bluetooth. If you already own a printer, there is a good chance it will work.

How a Bluetooth thermal printer billing app works

Thermal printers do not use ink. They heat special paper, and the heat turns it dark where the text should be. Most receipt printers sold in India speak a common command language called ESC/POS, which is why one billing app can drive printers from many different makers. Your phone sends the bill over Bluetooth, the printer prints it, and on models with a cutter the paper is cut.

With EETS, the bill is made on the phone or tablet first. GST is worked out, your GSTIN is on top, CGST and SGST are split, and the total is rounded off. Then you print it, show a UPI QR for the exact amount, or share the bill as a small PDF on WhatsApp. In a good billing app with Bluetooth printer support, the printer is only the last step, so a printer problem never stops the sale.

58mm printer billing or 80mm: which paper width to choose

The two common widths are 58 mm and 80 mm. EETS supports both, so the choice is about your counter, not the software. Here is a simple way to think about it.

  • 58 mm for small counters

Compact, often battery powered and portable. Good for a tea stall, juice shop, darshini counter or a captain carrying a printer to the table.

  • 80 mm for busy counters

Wider bills that are easier to read, more room for item names and GST lines, and faster cutting. Good for a main billing counter.

  • Kitchen printers

Either width works for KOTs. Many kitchens prefer 80 mm so dish names and notes like less sugar are easy to read from a distance.

  • Paper rolls

Buy rolls that match your printer width. Thermal print fades with heat and time, so keep important records as PDF reports, not slips.

What to check before you buy a thermal printer

You do not need to buy hardware from us, and we do not sell printers. If you are buying a new one, these checks will make sure it works with a billing app with Bluetooth printer support like EETS, and save you a return trip to the shop.

  • ESC/POS support

The listing or manual should mention ESC/POS. This is the command set EETS uses to print bills and KOTs.

  • Bluetooth, not only USB

EETS prints to Bluetooth printers, so make sure the model has Bluetooth and is not USB-only or Wi-Fi-only.

  • Auto cutter if you want it

EETS supports auto cut. Many 80 mm counter printers have a cutter; most small 58 mm portable ones tear by hand.

  • Cash drawer port

If you want the drawer to open when a bill prints, choose a printer with a cash drawer port. EETS supports cash drawers.

  • Battery life

For a portable printer, look at battery size and charging time. A printer that dies at 9 pm is worse than none.

Bills at the counter, KOTs in every kitchen station

A restaurant usually needs more than one printer. EETS lets you print bills at the counter and send KOTs to one printer per kitchen station, so the tandoor gets its naan and the chinese counter gets its noodles without anyone tearing a slip in half. Bars and many printers are covered in the Restaurant Max plan.

If you would rather not print KOTs at all, any old phone or tablet near the pass can be a kitchen display. Tickets move from new to cooking to ready, late tickets turn red, and alerts repeat at alarm volume until someone looks. Many kitchens use both: paper for the line, a screen for the head cook.

  1. Pair your Bluetooth printer with the Android phone or tablet that will print.

  2. In EETS, the printer shows up once it is paired. Choose it for bills, or for a kitchen station's KOTs.

  3. Pick 58 mm or 80 mm paper, and switch on the cash drawer if one is connected to the counter printer.

  4. Print your first bill, check the GSTIN and tax lines, and you are ready for service.

Android POS machines and a mobile printer bill

An Android POS machine is a handheld with a built-in printer, which makes it the most compact billing app with Bluetooth printer setup you can have. EETS runs on Android POS terminals that print through Bluetooth, so a single device can take the order, make the bill and print it. This suits food trucks, events, small outlets and captains who settle bills at the table.

You can also skip paper. EETS shares each bill as a small PDF on WhatsApp, which is useful when the roll runs out mid-service, when a guest wants a soft copy for expenses, or when you simply want to print less.

Pricing and what you need to start

EETS runs on Android 8.0 or later. There is no hardware to buy from us and no installation visit. The Café plan at ₹2,999 a year covers 2 devices with bills, GST, UPI QR and takeaway tokens. The Restaurant plan at ₹3,999 a year covers 6 devices and adds captain phones, the kitchen display and QR ordering. Restaurant Max at ₹4,999 adds bar and many printers, 15 devices and up to 3 outlets.

Every plan starts with 6 months free. Pay on or before 31 December 2026 and you get 18 months for the price of 12. EETS has no iPhone app, and the Windows and web dashboard is coming soon, so plan your counter around an Android phone, tablet or POS machine.

Questions

Questions owners ask

Which billing app works with a Bluetooth thermal printer?

Any billing app that speaks ESC/POS over Bluetooth can drive most thermal printers. EETS Partner prints GST bills and KOTs on any ESC/POS Bluetooth printer, 58 mm or 80 mm, from an Android phone or tablet, and on Android POS machines that print over Bluetooth. It starts with 6 months free.

Can I print a GST bill from my mobile phone?

Yes. With EETS, you make the bill on your Android phone, with your GSTIN, CGST and SGST split and round-off, then print it on a paired Bluetooth thermal printer. If the printer is not around, share the same bill as a small PDF on WhatsApp instead.

Is a 58mm or 80mm printer better for a restaurant?

A 58 mm printer is compact and often portable, good for small counters, tea stalls and captains. An 80 mm printer gives wider, easier to read bills and usually has an auto cutter, which suits a busy main counter and the kitchen. EETS supports both, so you can mix them.

What is an ESC/POS printer?

ESC/POS is a common command language for receipt printers. A printer that supports it understands standard instructions for text, bold lines, cutting the paper and opening a cash drawer. Because most Indian thermal printers support ESC/POS, one app like EETS can work with printers from many brands.

Can I print KOTs to different kitchen printers?

Yes. EETS sends KOTs to one printer per kitchen station, so each section only sees its own dishes. You can also use an old phone or tablet as a kitchen display instead of, or alongside, printed KOTs. Bars and many printers are part of the Restaurant Max plan.

Does the printer need internet to print bills?

No. Your phone talks to the printer over Bluetooth, and EETS saves every bill and KOT on the device first. Billing and printing keep working when the internet drops, and the records sync to your other devices when the connection returns.

Do I have to buy a printer from EETS?

No. EETS is a billing app with Bluetooth printer support, not a hardware seller, and there is nothing to buy from us. Use the ESC/POS Bluetooth printer or Android POS machine you already have. If you are buying new, check for ESC/POS and Bluetooth support, and pick 58 mm or 80 mm to suit your counter.
