₹0 commission on every order, ever

Zero commission ordering for the guests already at your tables

Zero commission ordering means a guest orders and pays without a third party taking a cut of the bill. EETS Partner does this for the people already sitting at your tables and standing at your counter: they scan a QR, order from their own phone, and pay by UPI straight into your account. It is not a delivery app, and we say so up front.

What a commission really costs a restaurant

Food delivery apps in India charge restaurants a commission on each order. The rate depends on your city, your contract and how much visibility you buy, and the figures commonly reported sit somewhere between 15% and 30% of the order. In July 2026 the Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association put Swiggy and Zomato commissions at 8% to 28%, with ad spends and payment gateway fees charged on top. Your own contract is the only number that counts.

Do the sum on one order. A ₹500 order at a 25% commission sends ₹125 to the app before you have paid for rent, gas, staff or the dish itself. On delivery, that may still be worth it, because the app brings you guests you would never have met. The problem starts when the same cut is taken on guests who were already yours.

Commission-free ordering at the table, not delivery

EETS Partner is built for dine-in and the counter. There are no riders, no delivery radius and no listing in a marketplace. We do not connect to Zomato, Swiggy or ONDC, and we do not take online delivery orders. If delivery is most of your business, keep your delivery partners and use EETS for everything that happens inside your four walls.

What EETS does give you is your own ordering system for the floor. A printed QR sits on every table, or an NFC sticker or table tent if you prefer. Guests open your menu on their own phone with nothing to install, order, call the waiter and ask for the bill. That is zero commission ordering: not one of those orders carries a cut.

  • Dine-in QR ordering

Guests order from their own phone at the table, in English, ಕನ್ನಡ or हिन्दी, with veg and non-veg marks, sizes and add-ons.

  • Counter and parcel

Takeaway and parcel orders get token numbers and are billed at the counter, alongside dine-in on the same screen.

  • Not included

No delivery ordering, no rider management and no Swiggy, Zomato or ONDC integration. We say not yet, not never.

How direct ordering for restaurants works with EETS

Direct ordering only helps if it is easier for the guest than waving at a waiter and safer for you than a paper pad. This is how one table goes from scan to settled bill.

  1. The guest scans the QR on the table, gives a name and mobile number, and picks dishes from your menu. The first phone that orders holds the table, so a second phone at the same table cannot fire a duplicate order.

  2. The order rings on the counter with an alert that repeats, even on a locked staff phone. One tap accepts it and sends the KOT to the kitchen printer or kitchen display.

  3. The guest watches the status change from accepted to cooking, ready and served. If they want water, the waiter or the bill, they ask from the same phone.

  4. At the end, show a UPI QR for the exact bill amount. The money goes straight to your own account and never passes through EETS.

A Zomato commission alternative for the orders you can win back

You will not move every delivery order to your own system, and you do not need to. The orders worth winning back are the ones where the guest is physically in front of you. Some apps now also sit between you and your dine-in guests through table deals and bill payment offers, each with its own fees, so check what your contract says about dine-in as well as delivery.

A few habits make zero commission ordering the default for them.

  • Put the QR where eyes land

A table tent at eye level gets scanned. A sticker under the glass top gets ignored. Print one per table from the app.

  • Say it once at seating

Captains can mention that the menu is on the table QR. Regulars learn fast, and captains still take orders on their own phone for anyone who prefers to talk.

  • Make parcel easy at the counter

Walk-in parcel guests get a token number and a bill in a few taps, so there is no reason to send them to an app.

  • Pay by UPI, not by link

The UPI QR on the bill pays you directly, so there is no gateway in between and no settlement to wait for.

What your own ordering system costs instead of a Swiggy commission

EETS charges one price a year and never a percentage. QR ordering with staff approval is part of the Restaurant plan at ₹3,999 a year for 6 devices, alongside captain phones and the kitchen display. Every plan starts with 6 months free, and if you pay for a plan on or before 31 December 2026 you get 18 months for the price of 12. On the Restaurant plan that works out to about ₹167 a month.

For a sense of scale, ₹3,999 is roughly the commission on ₹16,000 to ₹20,000 of app orders at a 20% to 25% rate. That is arithmetic, not a promised saving.

Commission figures are approximate and vary by city, contract and platform. The 8% to 28% range is as reported by the Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association in July 2026. Check your own contract.

When you still need Swiggy and Zomato

Be honest with yourself about what the apps do well. They bring discovery, a rider fleet and guests from across the city who have never walked past your door. If a cloud kitchen or a delivery-heavy outlet is what you run, a commission may simply be the cost of being found.

EETS does not pull Swiggy or Zomato orders into its screens, so those stay on the device the platform gives you. Many owners run both: the apps for delivery, and EETS for billing, KOTs, the kitchen and every guest who sits down. That way you pay commission only where the app brought the order, and zero commission ordering covers the rest.

Questions

Questions owners ask

What is zero commission ordering for restaurants?

It is ordering where no platform takes a percentage of the bill. With EETS Partner, guests at your tables scan a QR and order from their own phone, and counter guests are billed with a token. You pay one yearly price for the software, and every rupee of the order, paid by UPI, cash or card, stays with you.

Is EETS a delivery app like Swiggy or Zomato?

No. EETS is a restaurant POS for dine-in QR ordering, captain ordering, counter billing and takeaway tokens. It has no delivery ordering, no riders and no Swiggy, Zomato or ONDC integration today. If you need delivery, keep your delivery partners and use EETS for the orders that happen inside your restaurant.

How much commission do Swiggy and Zomato charge in 2026?

It varies by city, contract and the visibility you buy. Commonly reported figures range from about 15% to 30% per order, and in July 2026 a Bengaluru hotel association quoted 8% to 28%, with ad spends and gateway fees on top. Your own contract is the only reliable figure, so check it before you compare.

Does EETS take any cut of UPI payments?

No. EETS shows a UPI QR for the exact bill amount and the payment goes straight to the UPI ID you set up for your restaurant. The money never passes through EETS, so there is no deduction, no settlement delay from us and nothing to reconcile against a platform statement.

Can I set up my own ordering system without a website?

Yes. EETS gives each table its own link, printed as a QR sticker or written to an NFC sticker or table tent. Guests open your menu on their phone without installing anything. You do not need a website, a domain or a developer, and setup usually takes under an hour.

Does QR ordering work without internet?

Guest QR ordering needs internet because the order comes from the guest's own phone. Your billing and KOTs are different: they are saved on your device first and keep working when the connection drops, then sync to your other devices once it is back.

Which EETS plan includes commission-free QR ordering?

QR ordering with staff approval is in the Restaurant plan at ₹3,999 a year and in Restaurant Max at ₹4,999 a year. The Café plan at ₹2,999 covers counter billing, GST, UPI QR and takeaway tokens. Every plan starts with 6 months of Restaurant Max free, so you can try QR ordering first.
